So You Want to Know What Therapy With Me is Like…

The clients with whom I am most successful are ones who come ready to work hard and who understand that I don’t have a magic wand to make their problems disappear. I’m good, but I’m not that good! They appreciate my straight-shooting and active approach and that I make therapy comfortable.

Giving you personal attention is my priority whether it’s answering messages within a couple of hours, scheduling first sessions within a week, offering you a beverage during session, or remembering the smallest details about your life. I care deeply about my clients and it’s my honor to help you transform your life.

And When You’re Not Helping Others?

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy kayaking and hiking with my beloved husband. I’m an avid reader and enjoy adult coloring. Even though I can’t draw a straight line, coloring speaks to me and is a big stress reliever.

  My beautiful English Mastiff, Maggie or Mags for short, was my official office mascot. Before she passed away, she was my constant companion and spent many hours in the office with me. She’s still there in spirit and will always be the best singer and co-pilot I know.

Psychotherapy is my second career! Prior to being a therapist, I was a project manager and financial analyst in the corporate world. I like to think that gives me a good balance between being a driven and meticulous organizer and a happiness locator who helps clients learn to love their lives.
